The #BetterTogether BLOC Party is a summer long celebration of all things philanthropic serving the advancement of neighborhoods of color. Summer '19 and specifically throughout the month of August, individuals and organizations who serve marginalized people groups year round will be highlighted as they commit to working, giving and growing #BetterTogether.
By definition, BLOC is a combination of persons, groups, or nations united by agreement for mutual support or joint action towards a common interest or purpose. We hope to redefine this term to mean a collective if people in underserved communities (BLOC Builders) using their joint influence to bring lasting impact to causes (BLOC's) that are vital to the rebuilding and advancement of people living in these neighborhoods of color.
